Mary Bigalke Knierman, Age 82, was called home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2008.

Mary was the beloved wife of Clark Knierman. She was the loving mother of children, Robert, John and Ann and the mother-in-law to Ann Marie and Tammy.

Mary was the devoted grandmother of Lauren, Brian, Jared, Heath and Blake Knierman and Dominic Dennison McKay and the sister of the late Nancy Walters. Mary devoted her entire life to her husband, children, grand-children, friends and to her community.

Mary was a living role model for spouse and motherhood and was the bond that held the family together through thick and thin, better or worse, sickness and in health. Although humble in her personal perceptions of herself and accomplishments, the lives of her family and the world she touched have greatly benefited. Mary's long and devoted service to the community included Past President of Meals on Wheels, Project Friendship and the PTA Council; Heights YMCA Board Member, Woman of the Year and Honorary Kiwanian of the Year; Chaired formation of the Cleveland Hts. Commission on Aging and The Year of the Hanidcapped Committee; Volunteer Reader at the Margaret Wagner House and Roxboro Elementary School. These and many other organizations are a part of the tapestry of Mary's wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
