"Gene C.", as he was best known to us, was a vital part of out little band of heroes known as "The Wanderers." For 18 years, he willingly opened his home and his heart to us as we shared our experience, strength and hope with each other. We were better men having him as a part of our lives. It will take a great pair of shoes as well as a sophisticated and caustic wit for anyone to even come close to being "Gene C." We love you, Gene.

Gene was a fine man and a good soul. I am lucky to have called him a friend. He will be missed but remembered well. His place in heaven must be a good one, he did well by many on earth and will now reap his rewards.God bless I remember you with love and will always keep you in my thoughts.
